We know that cancer causes questions. Call us for the answers. Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20 and Counselling Service

Our trained nurse counsellors offer support and advice for people with cancer, their family and friends and health professionals. We also offer face-to-face counselling and access to a telephone peer support program, Cancer Connect. Newly diagnosed people are connected with trained volunteers who have had a similar experience. Call Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20 from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Staying Healthy After Cancer

This unique, free, seven-week program deals specifically with cancer-related issues and is delivered by trained peer leaders who have survived cancer or cared for someone with cancer. The program covers nutrition, physical activity, relaxation techniques, fatigue, medication, difficult emotions, communication, problem solving and goal setting. For more information call Cancer Council Helpline 13 11 20 from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday.

A place to stay. People who understand.

Our accommodation service at Greenhill, Flinders and Seaview Lodges provides a place to stay for country people undergoing cancer treatment in Adelaide and their family or carers. We also provide a volunteer transport service to treatment centres, as well as weekend shopping trips and local daytrips as respite for carers and guests.
